Re: Qdv question

Yes, what jack said.

You could always epoxy them to your pistons or washers like I did.

My first *valve* I ever made was a quick dump valve, and with a home depot near by I was able to make it with readily available bolts, washers, and o rings.

Re: Cheap c02 setup

I was thinking about a co2 setup, but it would be expensive. A stirrup pump or a fridge compressor and some air tanks would be best in my opinion. I would forget about CO2. Its a lot of cash. But for it, I would get a 12g co2 adapter, buy the 12g co2s in bulk, and a palmer stabilizer. I'm assuming y...

Re: SpudFiles Snow Report

We got 8 inches throughout the week, and it started raining about 2 hours ago. Tomorrow the high temp is -2 degrees f with wind chills in -20f to -40f. Coldest storm in a LLLLLOOOOOONNNNGGG time. Should be fun

Re: Extreme Epoxy

Do you understand the difference between a material property and a pressure rating? Yes I know. JB weld had something like 3,500 lbs of strength. And after I posted this I looked It up a lot more and I found out that it was possible. I'm assuming with a quality solder I can use a good about of pres...

Extreme Epoxy

I'm looking for a good strong epoxy. I've been using JB weld, and its all right, and I cant weld. Soldering is a possibility, but I want to use steel as a main material. Does anyone know of a good epoxy with a really high psi rating? ( above 4,000 psi)

Could I solder it?

Stainless steel too.

Coaxial piston hybrid rifle idea.

This idea sparked (pun intended) into my head the other night, and I wanted to see what others thought about it, what could be done to help it, and to make sure its not a ticking time bomb I'm thinking of, instead of a high powered rifle. Chamber; 6" of 3/4" Stainless steel pipe nipple, with end cap...

Re: Pnushnikov/Caselman-build log.

Looks sweet! I was waiting for someone to turn out a quality machine type hammer valve project, looks like it was you! 10mm... that's a good sized BB. I couldn't imagine what it would do to something like a "Zombie". What are your ideas to add to it? A stock ... That Zombie would probably undie fro...

Yuck..

I got a full inhale of gasoline smoke & fumes after dumping a bottle of it onto an open fire.

I had a migraine for two days straight, not a way to spend vacation..

Re: "In the world of spuds today"

I bet both of them pack a serious punch. I was thinking of building something like a 9mm with a Lothar Walther barrel (28'' for $178 I think..) , a big old' 1 inch brass coaxial valve with a co2 12g adapter until I move up to HPA. Or a hammer valve of sorts, with a good sized amount of flow....
