But if he wanted that kind of look he could have just used a piece of copper

you could use pvc sheets, unless you already have the polymorph.
If you warm pvc up(dont burn it dear gosh) and it will flex and hold its shape very well.

I'd wager it's at least 10 times that, assuming it's a military testing range.

Videos speak better than words ;) lets see..... A picture is worth 1,000 words. That video is at 1000 or so fps, and 21 seconds long.....its worth quite alot at 21,000,000 o.O Not quite... It was recorded at 1000ish fps, but only plays back at 30ish... So it's only worth about 630000 words  i...

spud bucks are just a little thing on this site, once you build them up you can buy things from the "spud store" (not real physical items of course)

I'm sort of new to spudding, but what do you do if it doesn't work? It cant be easy removing araldite. You grit your teeth, rip out the parts you can re-use (piston and shcrader in this case) and start over. You can make one of these in half an hour really so no big deal :) That seems like a waste....

First off, get rid of all that duct tape! You did use PVC glue didn't you? Another thing you could do is make the barrel somewhat longer (longer barrel=more time for gases to accelerate the spud), and use a sprinkler valve instead a ball valve. Have a look at some of the other sprinkler valve guns ...
