Videos speak better than words ;) lets see..... A picture is worth 1,000 words. That video is at 1000 or so fps, and 21 seconds long.....its worth quite alot at 21,000,000 o.O Not quite... It was recorded at 1000ish fps, but only plays back at 30ish... So it's only worth about 630000 words :wink: i...

I'm sort of new to spudding, but what do you do if it doesn't work? It cant be easy removing araldite. You grit your teeth, rip out the parts you can re-use (piston and shcrader in this case) and start over. You can make one of these in half an hour really so no big deal :) That seems like a waste....

First off, get rid of all that duct tape! You did use PVC glue didn't you? Another thing you could do is make the barrel somewhat longer (longer barrel=more time for gases to accelerate the spud), and use a sprinkler valve instead a ball valve. Have a look at some of the other sprinkler valve guns ...
