Re: Low-friction/Specialty Ball Valves?

If you are using a manual air pump, the lubrication system goes into it. In the case you use a motocompressor, it is the same. Always the air that comes out will be lubricated. Commercial devices are not very expensive. I suggest you study thoroughly, what kind of lubricant is a friend of the seal m...

Re: Single pumping hybrid, "Strong Boy"

I am building this charger to provide future "Strong Boy´s" mono pumping, with a very simple system of loading 1/4 "bb's. :D The idea is not to complicate the weapon, I want it very simple, but avoid loading the ammunition through the firing cannon with the drumstick. It is what does not conform me ...

Re: Single pumping hybrid, "Strong Boy"

Successful test run! :D The simple charger works perfectly, makes a metallic sound barely perceptible and most importantly, does not fail. I have charged about 200 bb´s and the small battery seems to still have a lot of charge. The idea is that in the real weapon, the tube that houses the bb's, is b...

Re: Single pumping hybrid, "Strong Boy"

Hi Jack! Nice to see you here. :D I saw your drawing and it's good. I think the solution, for your specific case and the power of the solenoid. Many amps will be necessary to overcome the resistance of the o´ring, and little more than that. According to what I have tried, with about 800 w, it would ...

Re: Single pumping hybrid, "Strong Boy"

LBC, sistema carga bb´s,.png Lanza Bolillas Corto, LBC 1.JPG LBC 2.JPG LBC 3.JPG I have this idea to introduce the steel balls into the mono pump, without using a ramrod through the barrel. I made a test weapon, with what I could find in the workshop, and it works correctly. I can't go out looking ...

Re: Self contained airsoft, pump action.

You see a very good construction, (as always, in your projects). It is nice to see someone who has and carries out a project from these sides. I congratulate you, and I look forward to new things from you. :D

Re: New spring powered airsoft

Very very very good construction job, :) :) :) :) I like it! The weapon is a little gem, in my opinion. Sometime in about 200 years I will be able to approach its high level of construction. The best I have seen in this forum. Keep building your things, much need. Greeting

Browning Airstar 200

I am struck by this spring compressed air weapon, which compresses the spring with an electric motor and reduction gears, using a chain similar to those used by motorcycles. Interesting! ;)

Re: HA-VI

I have prepared an animation of the pneumatic system. The explanation is as follows. I hope my explanation is understandable ... :? In the first table: When the valve is opened, the mixture is charged in the combustion chamber and at the same time, the accumulator is charged with pressurized gas. Th...

HA-VI

I am trying some ideas to simplify my weapons as much as possible. This new sistem has the following advantages: 1- It has no piston 2- It has no spring 3- It does not have a rupture disc 4- It has no solenoid valve 5- It has no dead spaces between the combustion chamber and the firing barrel The 1/...

It is the same in airsoft, as you explain. The concept survives there.

Re: Port size vs performance

Important thought experiment and clarifies in theory the same doubts that Moonbogg has. It must be taken into account that larger diameters generally use larger dead spaces, but it depends on the geometry of the transfer, as mrfoo says. The final gun, in my view, does not exist. The interesting thin...
