Hpa Dump valve ? Discussion points.

Hi All , Not promoting anything so altered out names . Product Description : The ****** is a fixed volume system so only the air contained within the ******* cylinder is released down the barrel when fired. Therefore you use pressure to offset the need for more air volume to properly fill the barrel...

Re: Help for spark plug leakage problem

Do you think a self-made epoxy spark plug can work better? I would make something like that: Untitled.jpg Using this sort of fitting: Untitled.jpg Yellow is a plastic cup or similar insulator, glue to the fitting, stick your electrode through then pour marine epoxy. Thank you for your advice. It lo...

Re: preloaded pneumatic cartridge

Using the cut capsule did you fill it with something or leave it hollow? Hollow suggests dead space maybe?

Very cool air cartridge you built. Too much machining for me... remember the good old days of epoxy-cast-everything?

Re: 2 position 3 way solenoid valve problems

I got it figured out it was a wiring problem at the switch! I do have another question as well! It doesn't seem like the qev is dumping all the air in the holding/ fill tank and im not getting the full 200 psi dumping all at once is this the qev possibly? It is from Granger but my project is coming ...

2 position 3 way solenoid valve problems

Hi I'm having trouble with a solenoid valve for a qev cannon! The issue is the valve is working but in the opposite way I need it to. So when the trigger is pressed the valve is activated and allows air to flow through the valve past the qev and into the fill tank, when I release the trigger it then...

Compact Semiauto Spud Gun

Hello Everyone, I have brought a compact design I have been thinking on for over a month, I tried making the fastest firing possible (without multiple combustion chambers) on an alcohol gun, the design relies on a blowback bolt, so if the combustion does not have enough pressure I think it won't be ...

Re: Compact Semiauto Spud Gun

I forgot to mention the valve between the alcohol tank and the combustion chamber, which is manually opened and closed.

Re: fl(air) gun - mechanically locked pneumatic cartridge for a 26.5mm flare gun

This is amazing. I love all the effort to keep it looking stock and completely reversable if desiring to use a conventional flare. The use of the CO2 powerlet sections as ammo is also very clever in a world of expensive ammo. I've utilized them in the past on builds and it was fun shooting full ones...

Re: Failure to break through 10mm steel plate

About the only way you're really going to get an idea of muzzle energy is to run it through a chronograph, or if you don't have access to one, shoot into a ballistic pendulum. The latter is very easy to set up; with a mobile phone as camera ad some calculations you can get some very accurate results...
