Re: Vortex feeding issue
I inherited a 3d printer from a friend of mine, so naturally my first project (after a few dnd minis) was doing some experimenting with vortex block design. The design in question has a skirt surrounding it to aid in loading, and since making the model, i have attached a couple of shrouds to avoid ...

Access Old Threads?
As I try to do some research here I get a lot of internal thread links that don't work. I've seen that on other forums where they update their software. Are there any tricks to access that old information or links?

Single-pump handgun
New design and prototype of the single-pump handgun, the "Plink .25". It shoots 6.35 mm steel bb's, because I'm interested in reusing ammunition. There is no point in wasting lead, (more expensive), on this weapon designed for plinking, simply. The pre-compression pressure is 6X and it can go throug...

Re: Single-pump handgun
It is possible to increase the output energy by at least 30%, because it is not very hard to compress, (about 9 - 10 kg), but since the objective is to mark the objective, only that, I have decided that the energy does not exceed that, and not too hard to compress, I mean comfortable to operate. Tha...

Re: Vortex feeding issue
The air inlet is most visible in models 1 and 4. At the top of the rendering in number 1, and the bottom of 4. Something I should clarify, when the gun is fired with spring and plunger in place, I get the feeding issue; a few bbs shoot out, followed by only air. The spring is mounted to the back plu...

Re: Single-pump handgun
An idea that can be used is embodied in a very low-power compressed air gun, which was very popular around here a few decades ago. To compress the spring, you have to rest the barrel of the gun against a hard surface, floor. The main advantage is that you can use almost your entire body weight to ge...

Re: Full auto qev pop off problem
Thanks for your help I actually made it cycle well by increasing the pressure of the air coming out of the preset. I now need to figure out how to prevent bbs from rolling out of the barrel, I m using an AEG magazine so there is spring pressure, the gun uses a blow forward valve to cycle the bbs. 20...

Re: Small semi automatic hybrid project
I share a home video of the firing test of the "LB - VI" semi-automatic pellet launcher. :) The bb's gas loading drive works perfectly, with the appropriate modifications that I invented for it. It fires 6.35mm steel bb`s, and can hold 11 in the ammunition tube. The feed works by gravity, and has 5....

Re: Low price HPA "sodastream" bottle
That's cool but would it be better than something like this ? I was actually about to pick up a tank and pump for a future project. That bottle is much more expensive around here. A paintball canister costs about USD 242 against USD 23 for sodastream. The regulator has to be sold separately, it cos...

Low price HPA "sodastream" bottle
Testing this "sodastream" aluminum co2 canister as a low cost compressed air tank. 0.6 liter internal capacity, 250 bar factory test pressure, and 166 bar working pressure, lightweight. The regulator is for co2 from 0 to 7 bar, and supports about 150 bar at the input. Normally I inflate it to 120 ba...

Re: Short question topic
What do you think... can it take a lot of speed out of a cup-type pellet, have moisture in the barrel at the time of the shot? It is a 24" .22 caliber barrel with 12 microrifling. It's not water, but if I pass a cotton ball through the inside of the barrel, it comes out quite wet. I have noticed var...
