In this idea there are 3 chambers, the entire barrel moves, and there are 3 slots in the bolt. A spring will push the barrel back until it is exposed...

You *probably* won't notice any benefit to using a 2 valve instead of a 1.5 valve; a 1.5 valve is already providing as much flow as the 1 pipe can...
