I just built a pnuematic golfbal gun (showcase thread coming soon) and i am looking for a cheap source of massive quantites of golfballs, pregferably junky ones that no one wants. I've found a couple deals on ebay, but they are all virgin balls, id prefer crappy ones.
go to a golf course with a driving range. Most places will have special range balls that they have to replace every so often and you should be able to buckets of them if you ask nicely and come at the right time.

Or if there's a golf course near you (there's one across the street from me) you can just walk slightly onto the course and start picking up lost balls. If you're picking up the really banged up ones just on the property, they don't care.

Go to a driving range anywhere in your area. They will give you a bucket of balls to hit, just dont hit them, if you know what I mean!! Also try checking at yard sales, which is where I usually get mine. I got 100 for five bucks one time!! Good luck buddy!!

Well, I wouldn't just 'not hit them', cause you'd be stealing unless you shoot them back onto the range
I imagine if you just asked they'd let you sort out the damaged ones at the end of the day. I doubt they make much money selling them for scrap.
