That is the sealing face paiyaan the rest of the round does not touch the barrel, you just press them into the barrel, very snug fit. I only drill down the length of the ammo. I drill these on a milling machine.

OK, I gotcha. Looks like good stuff. The polyurethane that you use, is it the really hard kind, or is it a bit elastic? Not like I could use this on my 1 1/2" bore but I'm still curious, lol.

This is 90a duro, roughly as hard as bone.
I have made these up to 33mm dia so your gun would not be a prob
I also make some from 55a duro, just like rubber, BOING!!!

No one has ever tried this in an airsoft gun before as far as I know. Maybe you could make a few of these and muzzle load them into the barrel of an airsoft sniper and see how they perform.

Just thought I would show you guys these as well, 33.7mm "Armour Piercing" rounds, The one on the left is Alloy base (hollow) with a high speed steel sharpened head.
The one on the right is Acetal base (hollow) with a stainless mid section, same head as the other one. I haven't fired the Alloy one yet, however the other one smashed a plate I made out of 3 sheets polycarb ("Bullet proof") Plastic 3mm thick each, in the middle was a plate of 12mm thick Acrylic then another 3 layers of polycarb. Dimentions were approx 10x10', all this was glued together with Acrafix.
It just plain smashed it into like 6 or 7 pieces, it was mad
