Today I came across some of those cardboard tubes that are used for 'Glad Wrap'(plastic food wrap). I thought the O.D looked awfully close to that of a golf ball barrels I.D, so I tested it out and Bob's your uncle, it fits. I tried two types of ammo in this sabot:
1) Rolled up newspaper
2) Rubber practice golfball
Both projectiles performed well, I wasn't expecting much I just thought it could be fun to shoot some newspapers. The rubber golfball I had always wanted to use but it was ever so slightly too small, this cardboard sabot fixed that problem.

For the record, toilet paper rolls have the same OD. (in the US, anyway)
