Possible Propane Adapter(?)

I recently got a standard Husky blow nozzle and it came with some extra nozzles. (About 8$, No camera right now but I could link to it)

One nozzle had a rubber tip. The back had two types of threads, back to back, seperated by an o-ring.

It looked like the larger thread would fit the threads of a propane torch base. But the smaller thread section made it too long to check so I put it in a vice and sawed the smaller threaded part off.
It fits (threads match).

The problem is when I cut the rubber tip off, it left a part about 5/16 diameter and only 3/8" long.

Looks like it could be jb welded or epoxied into a hose barb base.
Not sure if that would hold.

I am wondering if it could be soldered on.
I was thinking about replying in MrCrowley's how-to but I have a few questions too many about this new adapter.

Thanks 8)

Upon DYI's recommendation, I've just been buying the Bernzomatic basic flame torchand with 2 Big A pipe wrenches, breaking loose the crooked pipe that's threaded into the tank adapter and valve/knob.

You've got to really put some muscle into it but it will finally break loose...some fancy loctite type gunk in there. Once it's out, a 1/4" compression to 1/4" MIP brass fittingwill screw into knobbed valve adapter...it's a beautiful thing actually... :)

Right well, the bernzomatic torch you linked to is the one it screws into (after removing the pipe nozzle).
And the valve adapter you linked to is 13$.
This one came with an $8 blow nozzle I will use anyway.

I really don't see how this would work.

I'm referring to OP's blower nozzle

Still, no camera access but I found a link to it:the rubber tipped nozzle here

Hope the link will work.
I'll try to post pics of how I've chopped it, when I get my camera.

Looks like a smaller version of the tip I saw on a helium tank for filling balloons? Strange.

I still don't see how that the rubber nozzle can be used on a propane bottle:/
Maybe I'm just dumb, I have one, it seems far to small.

The larger threads on it fit a bernzomatic standard torch tip.
Once the smaller threads are sawed off.
Like the one Starman linked to (when the pipe part is removed).

Like I explained, I cut the rubber tip off (w/ utility knife, sort of a pain).
It exposed a 5/16" diameter by only 3/8" long brass end inside the rubber part.

The 5/16" diameter is only slightly smaller than the ID of the base of a hose barb.
So I'm planning on soldering/JB welding(epoxy) it in there and/or thread it for a set screw.

Then I will hose clamp a pneumatic hose on and thread it into the bernzomatic torch tip. 8)

ooh ok, so the threads that take place right after the bend...ok ok I catch your drift.
another solution that I have seen is cutting off the bend on the torch head, and putting a hose+hoseclamp right on the brass

Don't you just love that sickening "crack" it makes when it breaks loose? Every time I've done it, I thought I'd snapped the brass pipe. A hell of a lot better than sawing it off and attaching a hose clamp though.

so the whole crooked pipe is threaded into the mane base?
hmm

So the whole crooked pipe is threaded into the main base?
hmm
Yep. Amazing how few people in this hobby actually realise that... And the threads are 1/4" compression, nice and convenient.

I have seen an adapter for a standerd propane tank, it goes from propane threads to npt 1/4" pipe threads..I was thinking of using it as a portable air sorce for my gun.
