I'm building a what I aim to be a compact coaxial and after some planning and mucking around with GGDT I decided to use a 10mm barrel.

I ordered from eBay (oops) what claimed to be a "straight 1000mm length" of 10mm copper pipe. When it arrived it was anything but. I'm not sure if it was really a length from a coil, or if the Royal Mail had just decided to tie my parcel to the back of their van and drag it down the M27.

Long story short, looking for a supplier of straight 10mm pipe in the UK. Google's not finding much.

Edit: The other option is to get something like this but I'm pretty sure I can't solder that to copper. I was going to use two copper reducer couplings to step the size up to the chamber. If I epoxy one to this aluminum pipe instead of solder will it hold? I was looking at using about 350 PSI.

I've epoxied the same pipe to brass fittings with no problem. Just roughen up the contact surfaces extremely well and give the epoxy plenty of time to cure.

You can get that alluminium at b and q and ive had it up to 300 psi so it seem to be a good choice. :)

10mm copper pipe is pretty uncommon, altho 15mm is common and you will have better luck finding that,

It is a royal pain to try and solder aluminum and to solder the two together would not generally last due to the corrosion form the dielectric activity in the two dissimilar metals.

Rub the chrome off with a little wet and dry and solder away.

Pick up a pre paid gift debit card. Check first if the online retailer will take one. Not all will.
