Is it safe to tape a 1/2 inch BSP in the side of a 1'' galvanized steel pipe with 3.8mm wall thickness. Its so my chamber(600psi) will be closer to the barrel for a more slim shape.

dam, whats it call when you cut a pipe to mach the curve of a nother pipe.
I remember having a web site in my favorites that gives you a template you can print out and would fit perfectly
im no pro welder but ill give it a shot then fill the cracks with epoxy
edit: No point of doing that might as well use a tee on 90* fitting

this if you do have a grinder and welder and appropriate filler, then give it a shot.

If you can't weld, have it done for you. I don't have the tools to thread 2.5 inch pipe. I took it to a shop and had it done.

It's called 'Fish Mouth"-_- wrote:dam, whats it call when you cut a pipe to mach the curve of a nother pipe.
You could drill / tap then tig weld the fitting in place. No Fish Mouth required.
