meh, my dad is too special to let me use ballbearings or marbles. ball bearings i can understand, but marbles wont ricochet. if they hit something hard enought to send them flying back, they will just be pulverized into dust.

nice marbles tho.

wow, I sense some major sarcasm here... as this is a dead thread anyways, I am pretty sure I didn't just waste a spot on a useless comment...

If someone really cares, i can delete it... or a mod can, so speak up if you are bothered so much by it. But then you would have to delete your message telling me to delete this, so its just a huge waste of time.

Then again, it does take up a precious spot on the recent threads thing which is just about the only thing anyone looks at, so it could do more damage than I anticipated.

Not so, I know from experience with my 3/4" launcher that you need a pretty good backstop with marbles - they're much tougher than one imagines.

agreed, i have found that even at 16psi my S400* will put a marble through a phone book Yellow Pages(and the white pages) the thick one.

i have 12 newspapers as a backstop and it still manages to get half way through them.

These marbles fit in 1/2" copper pipe. It says they are a little larger than 1/2", but remember a 1/2" copper pipe barrel's ID is 0.545". link: http://www.rainbowturtle.com/index.php?cPath=196_233

does it really matter if they are unbalanced? think about it, a piece of pipe shooting a round ball is about as good as a musket, so it doesnt really matter.
