Hey everyone - just transferred over from Spudtech. Sad to see they're more or less closing down.

I just found a length of 2.5" PVC - no small feat in this town. I need to attach it to a 2" threaded male adapter. I've seen pics of a coupler glued onto the end and the 2" male threaded adapter glued inside the coupler. (So this male adapter must be exactly the same OD as the 2.5" pipe) Does anyone have one of these or know where I could find it? Local Home Repo/Lowes has a poor selection.

BTW - the small "snack apples" they sell in a bag up here this time of year are an excellent fit in the 2.5 PVC. It's good because they're not very tasty.

The part you want is called a reducing bushing, it goes inside a coupling. Just make sure you don't buy a bell reducer. I buy mine at Lowes.

I have a 2.5" male adapter with 2" male threads, its cool because it needs no bushing/coupler.
I got mine at Ewings.

That would be the way to go. It doesn't look like Ewing sells direct online and I'd have to drive about 10 hours to the nearest outlet. Anyone have an extra they want to unload?

If you paid to buy the part as well as shipping I could go get one from my local ewings.

Do you really live in new mexico? Texas isn't that far from you then.

Here's a 2.5x2" reducer bushing and a 2.5" coupling.

I'd gladly pay shipping plus a fair markup for your troubles.

I live in NY, formerly from NM.

Maybe I am lucky, but my local hardware store sells 2.5" pipe and all sorts of fittings! But I don't need them because I have a steel pipe QEV gun.
