You'll need to have good set of speakers with high quality tweeters in them and a decent "hifi" or pro power amp for this test to be anywhere close to valid. Laptop and basic desktop speakers (and associated amp chips) won't cut it. Also, don't trust what you hear from a $10 (or $30 for that matter) set of "earbuds" ... they are useless for this kind of test.
Many modern speaker and headphone products have a built in gain curves designed into them at certain frequencies and are almost all crap. You'll want as "flat" a system as possible for these tests.

Couldn't hear anything about 17,000Hz.
Just retook the test now that I'm awake, and I can hear fine up to 21kHz.
My speakers can't produce below 50Hz though. They just stop altogether.

No 15 hz is basically inaudible. Plus your audio playback components more than likely cuts off way above that.Spitfire wrote:Could hear everything exept for 15 Hz.
Does that mean im abnormal?
You need a calibrated audio system to do this right guys. These results you are getting are all over the place for a reason.
I can hear them all pretty good, 2200 faintly but its there.
I cant hear below 20hz.
