I'm from DC, well just north of it
in DC gun are virtually illegal the law says that pistols are completly ban and all sporting rifles or shotguns must be unloaded, and disabled via disassembly or trigger lock, so like I said they are virtually illegal

this will not spread across the US this is just one of the cites with outrageous gun laws, the laws in this area are all ready crazy, compared to the actual ban this is minute

what we need to concern our selves with is the current supreme court case about the second amendment, which is aimed at places like DC, and in fact originated in DC

i personally think that this is just a waste of time, nobody is going to give up their guns. its one of those things that kinda seem like a good idea but never really works.

i havent read much about it, nor do i know much about it, but it would be impossible to register every gun in the US. you could get most of them, but nowhere near all.
"physics, gravity, and law enforcement are the only things that prevent me from operating at my full potential" - not sure, but i like the quote

you know you are not an engineer if you have to remind yourself "left loosy righty tighty"

They probably feel if they get even one gun, it was worth it.

It won't spread nationwide. Let's see this fly in Texas or Wyoming.
