I would say just get a rod of foam, stabilize it somehow, and put a small ziplock of crayola paint on the front. 100 fps should be sufficient. :D

I could see a much better future in soaking a sponge in paint, wrapping it in clingfilm/whatever and firing it :)

Mind you I'm also kinda at sea as to what is meant by the bubble wrap so

Only thing it's good for is a cheap, single use, executive toy :D

Mmm, I have cut down on posting, life's busier than it was ^_^

On the bubble wrap...

You'd better not be telling me you've never whiled away some time going through a bit of bubble wrap popping each little bubble :D

Come on guys... Isn't it obvious by now? You inject the paint into the bubbles of plastic. And yes, I have played with bubble wrap. It is pretty entertaining, until you realize that all the bubbles are gone... :(

Maybe he wants to create an RPG shooting sound by smashing 1928730128937 bubbles at once?

Make it a mortar that launches paintballs up into the air so that they fall back to earth, otherwise you may injure other players if shooting directly at them.

Or you could use a water rocket: (Warning: lots of pictures)

to launch things up:

That’s off topic though isn’t it. 8)
