I just need to know if theres any way i could attach a drive axle to a car window motor such as this one shown here.

I'm going to use this motor to power a gear which will then be attached to a wheel.
Is there anyway to take off the gearbox to expose an axle inside of it?

Sure there's a way to do that.
It obviously has a shaft going into the gearbox.
The gear box on it is for torque rather than rpm.
The motor is spinning a small gear to a larger gear.
When the motor shaft makes one revolution the larger gear only makes a small portion of a rotation.(slower but more torque)
Just like a lever or pliers work.
Why buy that little motor and take the gear box off?
Unless maybe you could turn it around (put the shaft to the output gear).
All depends on what it's spinning(?) 8)

Well i'm not going to buy it but i know where to get one for free 
, but the bit of metal coming off the gearbox is very strange is there a way to attach a axle to that? Because for what i'm going to do with it (whatever that is) i would rather have torque than speed

I don't know the actual setup unfortunately, but i don't care if its ghetto as long as its secure. (I do not have access to a welder)

Try finding a gear with teeth that match at a hobby shop.
They sell metal and plastic ones for Remote control stuff.
You could mount that gear on the axle spinning the wheel and the motor with the gearbox gear spinning it
If you want torque rather than rpm's, one the same diameter should work.
Looks like a good motor for a robot or off-road rc thing or something. 8)

ok..... so my method goes like this.....
1. find an axle the same diameter as the one in the gear that is as long as you want
2. bevel the edges of said axle
3. line the axle up with the one in the gear and pound away with a rubber mallet untill its in there........and the other axle is out.
never failed me.....

I wasn't thinking about the mechanism in the car door for the window.
It's a metal long, curved piece with gear teeth on it so that acts as the bigger gear giving the little motor torque enough to raise and lower the window a good speed/power.
I don't know how fast the output shaft/gear itself spins.
Looks like it's a worm gear to a larger gear so it still ups the output torque itself.
But I don't have one to take apart.

Edit: Oh yeah do you think they sell gears at a hobby shop that will match the one on the spinning end of the gearbox?

You could also maybe hammer /epoxy a short pipe over the gear to turn a pulley belt like for a vacuum cleaner maybe.
BTW All this lever thought is making me remember a concept I was day-dreaming about, having a slow heavy projectile hit a lever and shoot a lighter projectile out other direction faster maybe. 8)

It looks like it uses a worm gear to a toothed gear so it can lock in place.

I really have no idea what i'm going to use this for, maby for a ball mill, or i might just attach a potentiometer to adjust speed (I think potentiometers can do that, what ever there called)
