Okay, so before my head gets ripped off for mentioning doing anything other than building a spudgun, give me an idea please!
So basically im really really bored and really feel like building something. I must admit that, although I have a vague knowledge of electrics, nothing too complicated!
To give you an idea of the kind of thing I'm interested in, I have just finished building a tattoo machine. Pretty cool, I won't lie :D
so please give some suggestions
peace

btw, are you guys still so strict on spelling and grammar?
really good quote/phrase here

i can tell you that there was some sh!t on my grammar and spelling when i was a newb on the forum but now it seems like everyone can live with it, and Mr Crowley said to someone that told me about my grammar that they could cut me some slack :D

well something to build could be a simple RC car.. or a simple ETG like the one DYI just posted.

something that really gets the time going is modding of PC games, if you got a GTA game you can play with the "handling.cfg" file that controls how fast the cars is traveling etc.

you can make a huge capacitor bank and blow up apples etc if you have much money.

a rail gun.

mini hybrid.

get some huge subwoofers.

well that is my stuff :D

Cool that you've built a tattoo needle. You can practice on grapefruit skin. Or one show I saw they used pig skin from a store (not fun IMO).
Just don't jump into it, (some friends got BAD one's in H.S.).
I had a GF with bad one's and I wanted to hunt whoever did them too!

You could try something related and do levitation with fishhooks.
(Saw it on a show) I don't think I'd EVER get that bored though.
Just don't ever get into those huge plug earrings (I just don't understand those)!!! :?

Maybe try building Homemade night vision or a bionic hearing device.
You could integrate that onto a cannon somehow.
I have a book showing how to convert fisher price camera into IR vision.
(But it's kind of old so... IDK). 8)

EDIT: this Book I noticed you said not to complicated electronics but it's a simple book with cool projects and you could probably learn from it (It has lightning globes etc.) 8)

It depends on what kind of money you have. Pyrotechnics, HEs, lasers, rockets, capacitor banks (and all the fun stuff you can do with them), high voltage, flamethrowers, solid-fuelled cannons, engines, radiation guns, nuclear weapons. When you're creative enough, and have the right connections, the sky's the limit

You haven't posted here for quite a while, have you Yeti?

A racing lawn mower. They look like they would be a lot of fun, but would probably be expensive to build.

I can't believe I watched a whole clip of four lawnmowers going round and round and round a small circular grass track for two and a half minutes

Modding Halo is easy and somewhat amusing, you can actually just mod the downloadable Trial version, look for a program called HMT 3.5, some slight intrusction is needed to get started though. You can make some medieval weapons such as Ballista and such. Go-Karts, Treaded Go-Karts, RC mini sub, SCUBA gear (sombody made on that lasted 2 minutes using a water sprayer), I can't think of much more. I'm kind of out of ideas past this as well, gotta avoid spudguns due to knowhere to use them anymore.
