Spell Check for Dummies

Here are three easy ways to spell check your posts

1. Google Toolbar all you have to do is press the “Check” button on the Google Toolbar.

System requirements:
Internet Explorer 6.0+
Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
Firefox 1.5+
Windows XP/2000 SP3+
Mac OS X 10.2+
Red Hat Linux 8.0+

2. SpellCheck.net simply cut and paste your text and press “SpellCheck Text”

System requirements:
None that I’m aware of.

3. Microsoft Word again just cut and paste the text into Word to not only spell check but also grammar check.

System requirements:
Microsoft Word

I just tested the Google toolbar spell check with FireFox and it does work but it requires version 1.5+

It also requires FireFox to be running on:
  • Windows XP/2000 SP3+
    Mac OS X 10.2+
    Red Hat Linux 8.0+
