This is gonna be my first knife, I am going for a futuristic/black ops 2 type design.
I was planning to use 5056 springsteel for the blade and maybe acid etch it to look like damascus
For the scales I was planning african blackwood, or maybe carbon fiber.
Retainer pins will be blue anodized titanium
Let me know if u have suggestions/tips for my first knife!!!

Here's one kiri readymade with leather shieth/protector. 5mm thick 0,8% carbonsteel, heat treated to like 60hrc. Blade is hard and sharp, and i have ntoiced that this desing is perfect for different kind of carving and other small work (JSR uses one for making grooves for epoxy! )
Asking 22€ INCLUDING shipping
Can be used with a pen-like grip for more accurate work (and is actually very comfortable to hold like that)

I made a knife once, it was terrible...
Made a few from nails, before my blowtorch shat itself, should try it again. I'd quench in used engine oil to case harden after sharpening, they'd hold an edge long enough to open a few dozen boxes, skin a few rabbits etc. I've got a few f*cked files around which I should make into something
