Hello everyone,
I recently started a new project, and now it is almost complete, but I still need an electronic part - the motor. I searched many places online and found a good one.
Is the following spindle motor worth buying?

Maybe someone has experience in this area and can give some opinions or suggestions/recommendations on the best/different milling spindles in this price range.
Thanks in advance.
Looking for a stepper motor
Hi Blake,
Looks decent for the price with good torque and RPM. Worth it for light milling tasks.

I’d recommend checking the cooling method and making sure your power supply matches up, since mismatches can shorten the motor’s life. If you want alternatives, take a look at the models from CNC4You or Stepcraft—price is a bit higher, but they usually have better bearings and durability.

I agree with iphauntin checking compatibility is key. I’ve used a similar spindle from Oyostepper before, and it worked fine for hobby projects, but it did run a bit hot after long sessions. If you can, go for one with built in cooling.
Play Geometry Dash right now!
