Well I have a friend who wants to make a nice spudgun, but his mom, who's a lawyer, argues with him that it would be considered a firearm/weapon and that it could be classified as a pipe bomb. I'm trying to find some sort of documents that he could show his mom to prove her wrong.

Does anybody else have or know evil mothers like this? Feel free to share.

I think its in the spud wiki
Movie dialogue: "The good die first."
Tom: "But most of us are morally ambiguous, which explains our random dying
patterns."

Hahahahaha.......'pipe bomb' lol.

It makes me angry when people who don't know what their talking about are the ones who make the rules.

Tell him to make a pneumatic, they’re airarms, and by FEDERAL law, cannot be called a firearm by local governments, I think, I’m going to check that now…

Its a good quote, but doesn't work well when applied to homemade flash powder or hybrid spudguns

EDIT: What the hell? I quoted somone and then their post dissapeared???? WTF is going on???

Shes probably just scared for your safety and trying to protect you, yet in reality if theyre built right theyre incredibly safe, just tell her how you want to build one and mabey she will realize she was wrong and that they are safe, and just have to remember that "to make a discovery first you must make a mistake" (i dont know who said it but they were a genius).

sorry insomniac, i edited my post to add a sentence but i messed up  but its back again

And i agree homemade flashpowder you just want to discover without the mistake, even though it rarely works out that way

I don’t know, I’ve had that happen too, I’ve also had half my post vanish for no good reason, oh and topics keep vanishing and reappearing (I click the link and it says something about topic vanished and go back and click it again and it’s back.).
Oh and about the federal law on airguns, I can’t find it…but I’ll keep looking…
