Wow where have you guys been... that has been like that on SpudTech for weeks.

There are many reasons SpudTech has shut down, one of them being that the forums continue to get hacked through a unpublished exploit (I guess) and Joel doesn't want to have to mess with it anymore.

An archive of SpudTech has been made and it's actually almost ready to go.

The SpudTech forums were online for part of today for an unknown reason, I did not do it, however they are very "shut down" now.

Wow way to be a idiot, i was just asking because i have not been interested in spudtech problems. Why dont you learn to use your brain to treat people better in stead of degrading them especially when only having 14 posts.

Listen, "freak", i was just saying, learn to read and infer meaning right. I'll also let you know that while i don't have as high a postcount on Spudfiles as you, i have probably contributed more to these forums in the past week, than you have in your lifetime.
I have personaly helped PCGUY with many of problems he has had, including, but not limited to, closing security holes, starting Theopia rolling, orchastrating a live webcam feed for the KY Shootout last year, and i am currently helping him get an archive of spudtech up on the web.
When you can match that, please let me know.

Oh, and for all it's worth, i had 334 posts on Spudtech.

The above post is why I think Spudtech tends to have a bad rep. You have one chance and nearly everybody wastes it and doesn't make an effort to get it back.

Look, "puds", im not gonna start a frekin war with you but just listen to how you are acting i mean I haven't visited spudtech or spudfiles for the last week so i was not informed, i asked a simple question and it was answered.

BTW what is up with your accomplishment list am i supposed to be afraid or in aww of what you did, sure its a lot of stuff and i amend you for your contributions to the spud society.

But by just boasting you sound like your better than every body, just because PCGUY is your friend and you helped him doesn't mean nothing. Because the fact is you know nothing about me and i know not much about you. So PEACE MAN.

I think we both overreacted, and when i said the whole "learn to use your brain...." thing i was making a shotgun statment to everyone who misinterpreted the meaning of the whole jerk thing.

I never ment to be boastfull, i just was trying to show that postcount means next to nill, since there are many other ways someone can contribute to a forum/hobby.

I'd also like to remind you that you started the whole "beter than you" thing when you said "especially when only having 14 posts"

Let's just forget this whole altercation happened, and let this thread go on in peace.

Man, this sucks. I think I was finally getting a little respect at Spudtech, and I was finally and "Advanced Spudder" and now I am nothing again.

Its not that I hate everyone at Spudfiles or anything like that, but this site has so many stupid members that just kick up posts and do nothing useful besides giving other people a lesson on how not to use english. Once again I am not saying everyone here is stupid, but you must admit that all of those stupid kicked up topics in the finished cannon section gets really annoying. The same thing goes for all the useless topics where the subject is: "mI gUNZ BlewS UpZ" and then they ask if they can duct tape all the pieces back together. Over at Spudtech we just ignored posts like that, but here it seems like that is all that there is.

I saw that Joel became a member here, right after the Spudtech forums went down. I think his username was "SGTCspudmaster" or something similar to what his username was on Spudtech. You could try PM'ing him, but I doubt it would get a response; he probably doesn't check these forums so much.

that sucks that spudtech is being shut down, I was a member, although PC guy did do the right thing and archive the spud tech articles from said website.
