i was at a building #19 today and i saw a glass tamper alarm for 5 bucks! being the creative person i am, i bought it to make into a tripwire. i gutted it and cut off the vibration sensor. then i soldered 2 of the connections together. now instead of the pin being a saftey when the pin is pulled the alarm goes off.

Awesome! What type of alarm are you talking about? I know of the ones where there is two magnets and when one is removed it goes off is that the kind your talking about? If you have digital camera I would strongly suggest you to take pictures of your creation.

no its not the magnet kind. bacisically it sticks to the glass and if it senses vibration it lets out a 120 decibel alarm. it had a pin as a saftey switch so that if the pin is removed the alarm is active. i modified it so that instead of the pin being a saftey and vibration setting it off, just pulling the pin makes you go deaf :P :P

and about the pix, ill try to post soon...... but ive been havin trouble with pics

Hehe, beware, all who mess with Saladtosser. For he will burst your eardrums with Rammstein and Necronomicon.

Wouldn't it be harder to disarm/less noticable if you just glued the entire device to a lose floor-board?

Don't double post, crop your pictures so they don't take up so much bandwith and space, write informative alternative texts, have the interest in your idea to draw a picture worth posting, don't use a picture when it's faster to explain in words and the concept is simple enough that you don't need it, and learn how to spell point.

to put the tripwire to a fiecaracker, just take the wire from the speaker, and put both on a piece of steel wool. then, that will spark up. Now your imagination comes in.
