Update:

Hmm..I made a custom exhaust..
I wanted it to go underneath the block and pop up behind it so my kid wouldn't burn himself.
And I made a slashcut turnout tip and cut up a pipe I got for the chrome showpiece.

I swapped the rear tire for a fat one ( over 5"wide) and noticed the wheel is far from straight..Now I got even more work to do.
let;s hope I can adjust those old rusty spokes.

I also boxed up the enginemounts..Solid as a rock now.

With a lot of effort I managed to fill up the voids between the inner and outer tank with some old polyurethane caulk stuff..
It was a female dog squeezing it out of the tube..but it still sticks like hell.

I rebuilt an engine, carb is on, redid the wiring completely.. etc... hopefully ready to run soon.

But that is not interesting perhaps so...let's look at the tank.
I melted a bottom on so you can no longer see it is just a cover over the actual tank.

I tried to replicate the eye of a terminator for the paintjob.

It still needs clearcoat.

Hopefully, if the engine lives I can start finishing up the framework, controls etc.

Hope someone enjoys my buildlog... :D
Anybody?

Everyone's just bitter that their dad wasn't as cool, and forced them to use the lawnmower to actually mow the lawn on a saturday morning instead of ripping the engine out and making them a motor bike ;)

Or they're all disgusted by the fact I'm not building anything spud-related.
Sorry..

Pumpkin cannon parts don't grow on trees.. :D

Anyway, I'm off to vacation in a few days so this is probably the last update untill I'm back..

I'm bitter because I'm selling my bike, and don't have the money for a RD350. Just have to settle for a CB350.

Very nice work BTB, looking forward to seeing it in action, hopefully with a turbo. :D

hopefully with a turbo
Whahahaha..

I was kinda leaning towards strapping a Rolls Royce jet engine to it and building an afterburner.
I'm quite sure my 9 year old can handle it.

Nah..
Not likely...

It will be hard enough to adjust the throttle so he doesn't kill himself.
:D

What's wrong with a CB350??

Well...as I said..

I'm off to summervacation tomorrow.
14 days of camping ..

Nothing to do but sit in front of my tent and relax.

What the hell am I supposed to do with the remaining 13 days 23 hours and 57 minutes????

I'll just think happy thoughts like...I'm really in prison and not actually here.

Or stare at my toenails..
Somehow I'll get through it like I always do...but it gets harder every year.

Hopefully we'll get a hurricane so I can go home early with all my gear blown away so I won't be able to repeat this next year.
A man has to have a dream right?
