medievalman wrote:well, i'm in cross-country, and it is by far my favorite sport. no-one in football(american football) agrees with me, but it is probably one of the most dificult sports. you try running five miles every day. most high-school football and soccer players can't. cross-country takes alot of endurance, determination, and discipline. but thats just my opinion, although i do value my opinion more than anyone else's(but i am not concieted)

another one of my sports is Speed Stacking. most people dont think it should be a sport though. its where you have a bunch of cups, and you have to stack, and unstack them in certain patterns, as fast as you can. it is really fun. google search speed stacks, and look in the videos.
yes XC for life. I live in washington and i went undeated in my distict for cross country, track rocks too. I ran a 4:42 miles and a 10:15 3200 as a freshmen
p.s. running is hella fun but it is not the hardest sport, that title goes to wrestling

I cant stand NFL there is so much show about it and a touch down...WTF they don't even touch the ball on anything. The game stops every 5 minutes a game of rugby is 40 minutes perhalf and it can go un interrupted for that whole time unless there is some one with a broken neck etc.

I have yet to see a fight in NFL aswell were is the biff? And why the armour and pads it doesn't make sense its supposed to be a hard game correct and yet they were all this padding and helmets...Why?Don't want to ruin there faces for the camera   .

Rugby is the internantional sport of football Not Grid iron(sp) That has to say something about the sport.Actually we had a canadian team come to our school to play rugby about 4 days ago and we beat them by 4 trys. They all agreed that Rugby is a better sport then NFL you Actually feel like you have played a contact sport the next day,not just the feeling of sore legs and a massage that you would feel through 100mm of padding and plastic.Respect levels have risen for Canadians on my behalf because they play rugby  .Great sport.Plus they look all funny and white i mean really white plus they ask stupid questions about snakes and kangaroos. In real life a kangaroo can kill you so don't try and pat one.Just some advice if you come to australia.

What is the go with the SuperBowl??They stop what seems like every 4 minutes for a commercial or a fireworks show, those players get an awful amount of rest.I got an idea for a few of you, just play a game of rugby give it a go find a club play a game in the season just a trial and see how it goes and remember to leave your armour at home and bring alot of ice  .

LMFAO!! rna_duelers. its because Americans are safety conscious of most things... rugby is a much tougher game than nfl and so is afl, i realy dont see why nfl players need pads and all that crap it would be so much better without them.

No, americans are dumb. I can't see how anybody could sit through a game of football, I can't make more than a minute or so without getting incredibly bored.

Yes, over-generalizing are dumb. Not all of us sit around and drink beer and watch football.

I agree with you, competition shooting is about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on, along with drifting sports cars....

I shoot skeet and trap, and pistol silhouette which is the hard part in my opinion. Try hitting 10, 1.5" metal disks with 10 shots from 100 yards with a revolver, consistently :) I'm just now getting decent at that.

And you're right, ammo goes way too fast. Thats why I shoot so much .22 and 12g, it's cheap $hit compared to .357 mag and etc.... :)

Anyone else here do any competitive shooting?

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

That's incredible distances with pistol ammo.
Stance and breathing are huge part of pistol shooting.

I hear all the time of somebody wanting to cram a load of stuff down their spud barrel. It reminds me of firing on an obstructed barrel with a real fire arm. I don't think some people get it. When using powder actuated weapons the first thing to do is inspect for obstructions.
I've been around blown up gun powder guns a couple of times ,not pretty.
