[1-23-06] Update:
Ok I know ive missed the last few spudfiles Spud Chats, because Ive been busy on Thursday (Church Ball). But Im going to start them back up. This weeks will be on Wedensday because I have Church Ball one more time on this Thursday. So this weeks Spud Chat will be on Wedensday then after this week we will go back to the norm, Thursday. Ive seen a lot of new spudgunners lately, if you would like to join the spudchat please reply and I will add you to the member list. See you tomorrow!!! (Wedensday, 1-24-05).

How does a spud chat every Thursday on AIM sound? Ive tried organizing a chat like this but it didnt really work out. But being optimistic as I am i belive that it will work out this time. As of right now I think these are the times that it will work best.

The reason I want to do this is because I think that it is fun and interesting to talk to people with hobbies the same as yours (in our case spudgunning). Also hoping by doing this that I and others can exchange ideas with out having to wate for some one to respond to a post. If you would please tell me what you think about and PLEASE stay on topic. I know you said DL AIM if you don't have it and what not, but whats wrong with MSN messenger? I think more people would havemit, but its your chat, just a question. Im thinking on DLing AIM, not too sure though, lol.

I forget, but do you acctualy have to download AIM to use the service? If not, download trillian instead - no nasty pop-up ads when you boot your computer, and can serve ICQ (and certainly more that I don't remember) too.

I might not be on tonight, but if i am, ill definitely be there.

The first annual Spud Chat turned out good today Im looking forward to next week chat. I was there BLB, Drac, DTD666, Woffer, PCGUY and others. PCGUY didnt chat for some reason though. There were also a few other people from time to time that joined the chat. If you havent already please join the spud chat. I was thinking if we got more people we could get a couple different chats going at once. One could be theries another could be a general I think you understand me.

Everything went good as far as spudding today except when DR (thats not a typo) flamed me on spudtech. This was one of the flamers.

Well i have read the long posts on spudtech and i think you were in the right for what you said.

You obviously explained yourself and how you came to hold some free merchendise and good for you, why not get something for free!!!! so long as it aint stolen (Which the thought never entered my head!!)

business are always giving away free stuff to gain more trade - such as companies over here in the UK if you have an account with them and order a lot you always get free stuff or discounts on your purchase

I only wish i had someone to give me free stuff like that !!!!

Sorry bout that I had to work a little longer then I expected. But BLB was there to save the day and started the spudchat for me. (TY!) I was pissed how the spudchat went down though. There was a big turnout but after today I think we had to many people. Why I wanted a spudchat is to share ideas, get to know each other, and discuss possibilities of future cannons. But every treated it as a free-for-all-bum-(xxx). Which as you can see pissed me off. Not to affend anyone but talking about Sony and there problems doesnt come close to any of my purposes. I thinking of writing a guideline. I dont care when people go off topic when it was orginally related somehow to spudguns. By that I dont mean that i'm not interested in other topics such as Sony just that is why I joined a spudgun forum so I could learn and get ideas for spudgunes (and that alone). I read the news or join other forums to dicuss other stuff. Just wanted SpudChat to be a faster way of communicating forum style stuff. Thank you for reading.
