Proof if need be, that it doesn't matter if your barrel's bent as long as the last bit points in the right direction.

In the beeman collection, I recently linked VH_man to this to make the point about only the last bit of barrel being tight for good airsoft accuracy.

Now all they need to do is make a flexi barrel that can fire in any directon, arround corners(the armys, marienes whoever they are) their experimental guns dont count

The Nazis developed the Krummlauf attachment for the Stg44 in WW2:
Originally made for testing Luftwaffe machineguns in different attitudes without having to shoot bullets up into the air but also useful for shooting around corners with the periscope attachment and also for spraying brave soviet anti-tank troops off vehicles
A modern variation is the Cornershot, considerably more hi-tech

The cornershot is actually a pistol, camera and light on the hinged bit that peeks rounds the corner and a linked trigger, viewing screen and stock on the bit that the operator hangs on to.
No bendy barrel on that one

True, but in that way it avoids the friction and damage to the bullets that were experienced by the
Krummlauf
- the Glock's pistol calibre from a straight barrel is probably more effective that the Stg44's 7.92mm kurz round from a curved one.
Also, the Cornershot can be fitted with a 5.56mm assault rifle, or even a slightly larger calibre

But what about the "kitty" corner shot.
After a couple of shots the fluff starts to come out of the head, lol.

Unless the terrorists are spooked by the uncontrollable sniggering at the fact that you're a hardened spec ops operative holding a cat with a rifle up its arse

Spreading the two-part adhesive gospel from the book of efficiency through questionable (at best!) humour, that is my mission

For those that may not have seen it, I've found a video of said lethal cat here.
