Paintball gear...

So I'm thinking of selling my paintball gear to get some new stuff. I'm not posting this in classifieds because I'm not actually selling it here. I have a Spyder TL-R with 12" and 16" barrels. It came standard with a drop-forward and LP setup. pbreview.com says it retails for about $200, but I paid significantly less, however, I have no moral objection to selling the gun for more than I paid if I can get it. You guys have any idea how much I should ask for it? It's just the gun, two barrels, and a mask. I might throw in a Spyder 14" rifled barrel, but probably not.
The gun's in great condition. I just don't know how much to ask for it.

I would pay 100, 120 for something like that. If I was desperate 150...

Sweet, that's kind of what I was thinking. I've seen stores sell just the gun with a 9 inch barrel for $120, but when I got it new, I got the gun, barrels, 12 oz tank, mask, cleaning kit, and hopper for $130. It really is a great gun, I'm just wanting a shiny new one. Er, less shiny. It's polished aluminum, doesn't go well with my play style at all.

Well yea, but the gun I'm looking at is also an electronic, and I can fit a stock on it. The hopper isn't directly over the gun, it's angled off to the side so I can aim down the barrel, or get a cheap scope if I feel like it. The TL-R was my first gun, when I bought it I didn't know how I'd be playing. Now I do, and I just want to sell it. It's apparently quite easy to mod.

I know what you mean, I bought a tippman A-5 after I was fed up with all the cheaper paint ball guns. I payed about 100 bucks for it second hand with an 16" inch barrel. Its nice... Haven't played for awhile so it just sits and collects dust but once in a awhile...
Good luck hunting....

Yea, I think the gun I was looking at was a Spyder E-MR1. Heard anything about them?

I haven't but, I know Spyder generally makes a pretty decent gun. It looks pretty sweet though. Reviews sound pretty decent....

Yea, the reviews sound pretty good. I really would like a marker with the 3-round burst option, and the E-MR1 looks good. I'm still open to suggestions though.

No doubt for entry level guns kingman spyder has the market cornered. But honest truth, Paaiyan, I'd go with an Ion or an SP1.
I know quite a few guys with Ions painted green to match scenario play. I've yet to see any major issues. Maybe a faulty switch from time to time.
For a couple bucks more you can have a gun that will far surpass that spyder. Give it a thought.
Of course lets not leave out the tippy's. I recently acquired an X7. I really do like it. Polish the internals, get some TechT parts for the cyclone, and you're good to go.
