I've seen (and made) lots of paintball alternatives and I've never heard of the bubble wrap. Please explain.

I think that it would be possible to make paintballs out of bubble wrap, but if you are talking about making the actual launcher out of bubble wrap, just make sure the bubble wrap isn't DWV. :D

It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.

Well if it is going to operate the same way as an RPG. Bubble wrap, if you can manage to fid a way to use it, will turn you RPG into a paint shotgun. Honestly any attempt to make a round that would survive a potato gun would just end up hurting the opposing player when you shoot them with it. That's why "grenade launchers" are really just shotguns.

Well a "Rocket Propelled paintball Gredade" is quite out of the question unless you get a model rocket engine on it.

I think he's trying to make paintballs by cutting out the "bubbles" from bubble wrap, and then filling them with paint. If that isn't his idea then I have no clue...

Exactly!!!
It is not a rocket.
It is not rocket propelled.
It is not a grenade.

Why RPG?

Unless........ is some new bubble wrap role playing game that I've never heard of?

Well, an average box of bubble wrap with 1/2" bubbles costs $32 http://www.uline.com/ProductDetail.asp? ... 1&ref=7750 plus the cost of paint to inject into them. Add to that the leaky mess.... you would have as much paint on you, the shooter, as you would on the enemy.

You can get a box of 1000 paint balls for $20 at Walmart, ready to fly....
