Members better start following a simple one line instruction!
This will be a good thread in my opinion if members talk about the hobby, and leave the aguments out.

Omg you guys, grow up....stay on topic and don't post otherwise...
I will start off by discussing how we can "advertise" the hobby more and getting more members on the team. What do you guys think?

Honestly, I don't think it is worth the effort of whether or not spud gunning is primitive.
I personally think it isn't but that is beside the point. By the way, I don't like it when people do this, it really is a hassle to look it up on word.
Remaining true to the topic, diction aside, I personally think that spud gunning is a great hobby, one of which is just as good as conventional sports. It certainly requires a different skill than physical activities, but both are quite enjoyable in my opinion. As far as being made fun of goes, I personally have not had too much of a problem with such. In fact, probably the worst that has happened as far as others goes was being referred to as a "mad scientist" by one person, which in my mind isn't bad at all.

Just to get the last word in, been busy in the garage and missed all this

I never said spudguns were more innovative or advanced then cooking, I was trying to make a point.
Edit: And remember spudguns as they are known today have probably only been around for 20-30 years. Compared to cooking which has been around for hundreds.
