Very, very impressive - though personally I'd rather have a gun which looks like crap but actually fires. Still, we can all learn a lot from this individual.

Yeah great find, although i've watched a few of the videos and realised that they dont' actually fire.... well I wish it did because the presentation of a homemade looks very impressive, although I wish it could fire ball bearings , oh well i'm going for looks but not realism.

I think that his bolt action would be awesome if adapted to fire.

Holy shiz!! lol i' looked on his profile, yeah he's my age lol, i wish he made one that shoot something... would you imagine that... ultimate power. Although when i'm going to make my gun i'm only going to use it for shooting, and looks well as long as it looks good lol

If we could get him interested into spudding, he could make fire-able guns.

Modelling cardboard /= machining metal and designing pressurised systems to fit.

Also, starting with an existing rifle external design and then trying to get an incompatibly operated spudgun (not bbmg) to fit inside does not work well.

I'd prefer to see spudguns made that just look good and work well than ones with illusions of looking like a firearm. Especially ones that try to look like a firearm and then fail in both looks and performance.

Anyway. They're nice models

I'd still put money on Candyman being a better convert to spudgunning. Not least because I'd like to pester him about certain aspects of his designs

I'm with Hotwired - I've spent long hours trying to think about ways of making true replicas, but the problem is that spudguns and firearms are not compatible designs.

The problems are the generally high calibre of spudguns, and the need for a chamber. Myself, I've only ever designed three things that could make a reasonable replica of a firearm, and it took a lot of work to solve the design problems - perhaps I'll build some of them one day, if I find the time.

However, on to the original subject, those are reasonable to look at, even if they are non functional and a little rough around the edges.
The M4 is pretty decent.

But as I said, a bit rough around the edges - and as with Hotwired, I'm more impressed with Candyman's work, because there, it's next to impossible to tell it's not the real thing.
