I want to know how these pinfire revolvers fire it seems that the hammer hits the side of the shell causing the propellant to fire.

Out of curiousity, wasn't these "rimfire" firearms or anything to do with "explosive powder" braking the rules on this site?

But yeah I saw that video, it's pretty cool. The ultimate concealed weapon. Looks kind of annoying to fire though :S
It's Nerf or Nothing.

Don't start crying when I play this as my hobby, Paintball, Airsoft and Nerf are equally good hobbies, except you can play Nerf in public. Good day! Hmph!

This is fine, since no one is talking about building a device like this, or using solid propellants in a launcher.

There is actually nothing terribly special about these types of carts. They are simply an intermediate that was around for a short while until centerfires and rimfires were developed. Imagine a regular round, but with the primer on the side.

Cool thanks for tell me :)

Anyway I've heard you can sell these things since their antiques for bigggg money. No idea what they use it for though back then, or just made it for the glory for making the smallest rimfire firearm in the world lol.

I wonder if there's anything in there but a primer compound/mixture. Not exactly a lot of room in a 2mm cartridge.

That is no weapon, cap guns or the most weakest air gun have more power than these guns.. They are just a novel toy ,but they are no weapon!!!...I dont think they could inflect any kind of wound, excepe a miner one. They are just a novelty. (or a useless toy).

They sell .22 CB rounds here in the U.S. that contain only primer for use as a sort of "convenient" pellet gun. I like em because I can/could shoot around my house without worrying about noise or the possibilities of a loose round.

you are obviously underestimating the power of this it could probably shoot through your hand in places without bone.

Maybe if it was firing a needle it could poke that through an inch of flesh and tendons but if there's actually a bullet in those tiny cartridges I really have doubts on it having either the mass or speed to get through.

I have one of those a bit like the first one he picks up. I don't know about his but mine does not actually fire a projectile, it is just a really loud cap gun.

I think you're giving it a bit too much credit, 22 rimfire shotshells for example are considered to be really, really poor rounds, and they are many times more powerful than a single 2mm shot that's probably travelling well below the speed of sound.

I think you'd have to be.

As the guy used a British 2 pence piece for scale, the logical assumption is that he's from the UK, and anything that small is legally limited to next to no power at all.

Of course, that does assume he's following the law to it's letter.
