Need support for finnish gun owners, please sing this petition ! .

http://www.petitiononline.com/teto/petition.html

They are going to ban all handguns in Finland..REALLY

------

To: All shooters around the world

One of Nokia subcontractors is Finnish company \"4Sens\".(http://www.4sens.com)

Company managing director is Kimmo Pentikainen, also green-party activist, and member of Helsinki city executive board.
Mr Pentikainen publicly supports AND promotes proposal to ban ALL firearms that has under 600mm or 23,6\" long barrell.

In practice, law would ban +90% of all firearms in whole Finland- owned 100% legally by private hunters, target shooters and other shooting enthusiasts.

Nokia is not political organization.
Nokia should stop supporting their subcontractors which have political assets or other political commitments.

Pentikainen´s homepage:
http://www.pentikainen.fi/site/index.php
4sens info regarding Mr Pentikainen:
http://www.4sens.com/index.php?mod=1&siv=112

I want to support Finnish gunowners, and boycott all Nokia products until:

- Nokia stops all co-operation with 4sens (http://www.4sens.com)
- Or, 4sens managing director publicly resigns

All this because of the recent school shooting? Typical senseless knee-jerk reaction because of one isolated incident that penalises the rest of the law abiding citizens.

Hate to break it to ya, but online petitions are about as useful as a butterknife for a bayonet.

But yeah, I agree. That sucks.

Why did you escape all the quotation marks in your post? Makes me wonder if it's an automated message.

It wouldn't be the first country across the pond. Maybe you should be doing some serious petitioning instead of this online thing.

Like Hotwired has said, this is essentially what happened in the UK after Dunblane.

It was hardly unexpected. I've put my name down anyway (I don't use Nokia product as it is), but I doubt it will do any good.
Like Mark says, get organised, do some serious petitioning, and that might, just might get results.

Getting organised worked to protect the UK's airsofters from a total ban. It was still bad, but they at least got enough leeway that the sport wasn't killed off, although it does make it harder for people to get into it.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Unfortunently for you petition this is a spud cannon web site. It's not that I don't want to help you but this don't belong here. If another mod or PCGUY wants it here they can unlock it.
