Looks very nice and steady. The only problem would be if you have to move it
. I envy you with my 30 sm piece of train rail. Can't wait to see some knives (or other stuff) forged on this thing.

Nice knife, I like the axe handle shape for the handle. I of course love drop point knives, I'll have to try to make one like it, but I personally would make mine a full tang that the metal is exposed on the outside, just my preferences. So far I've flattened a bolt to make a knife, gonna finish when I build a small forge. I'll be back when I finish some knives, I got a pretty cool set, though I need to make the grinds. Any advice to make a 30 degree flat grind?

I lately have been busy rebuilding my bike and upkeeping my truck while trying to fund all this, but there's always a bit of time for knife making!
Well, for maybe not
exactly knife making, but I made an axe for my coworker, that should count as something!
Head forged from a block of spring steel, ground and etched, handle from oak with a coat of beeswax, and shieth & belt loop from 3mm thick vegetable tanned leather.
Let me know if you want some more pictures!

What a silly question, of course we do!
By the way, thanks for convincing me to
refinish the stock

Oiled wood is always pretty! Now just apply a thick coat of beeswax, let it sit for an hour and then buff the heck out of it with a soft rag, it's going to be shiny!
Here's few more pics of the axe, have done few back in the day but I think this one is the best so far
Also made this kitchen knife few months back. 15N20 blade, brass/red fiber/buffalo horn for the handle. Hand sanded to 800 grit and then lightly polished with finer grits, good enough for my eye. Chisel ground edge so the angle is close to 5-7 degrees, heck sharp and a pleasure to cut with
Was made for a Christmas present and you might spot a bit of a secondary bevel on the tip, was made in a bit of a rush as I still don't have my belt sander done (oooops) sooo was made entirely by hand

It seems that the images that don't show up are the ones hosted on facebook, nothing you can really do about it.
