I have a pretty good memory and can use the forum search - let's put it that way.

It's a little like JSR has his own power of knowing about every individual firearm that has ever existed.

Yes, but firearms can be researched with ease on a number of sites, anyone can use google to find everything you could ever need to know about a gun, but you just seem to have everything he says on record... it's somewhat impressive, somewhat frightening :?

true, but that's what the "bring the party with you wherever you go' part is for, if theres one thing we don't want, it's jsr driving a 4X4 land rover around drunk firing his semi finished automatic guns out the window into crouds all over the place... although the resulting news storys would reveal JSR's location to the world :D

It is however entertaining to see drunk people trying to use a racing (video) game. Mostly because I'm completely teetotal and can thus whoop their arses.

Actually, I can normally show them a thing or two - I'm just even more able to when they're less sober.
Cue amusement when playing Forza and an 850 hp Corvette gets lapped by a Honda CRX.*

*I should note in my friend's defence that my CRX on Forza is not exactly slow. It is however, unlike the Corvette, not capable of doing 230 mph.

Could the brand you were thinking of be Flowmaster? With a 2.3 liter engine, almost any kind of cat-back exhaust upgrade would sound a little on the ricey side

Hey, JSR, keep it as it is, at least, looks-wise. Keep it looking a bit worn, you know, nothing special...stock, sun-damaged paint, stock, worn cloth, stock slightly rusty wheels...

On the outside...

Get some Dana 60s, lockers, and find a good fuel-injected Chevy smallblock...a built 700R4 and a good transfer case...turn it into a low-key beast...

Oh, and if you plan on doing serious off-roading, skip the loud exhaust. If you're going through real rough country, being able to hear the mechanical sounds of your motor and suspension is important. A quiet tapping noise, or a clunk or ping can clue you in to a problem before it becomes a catastrophe, and save you tons of money and a long walk.

Oh JSR can embarrass himself perfectly well on his own, Rag just facilitaties the process by keeping his personal and professional failings fresh in the minds of the people  :D price of fame innit?

As to the Landy, gave it a good hosing down with the work pressure washer (while of course thinking of nicking the handle for a high pressure BBMG ;) ) to remove all the much accrued on the chassis, as well as removing the side steps and all the rear upholstery. The interior's going to need some loving rubbing down and a good few coats of hard-wearing (yes, probably epoxy :P) paint, but yes, bodywork's generally going to be left alone for now and I'll invest in a new exhaust system and defender coils and axles.

I'm also giving serious consideration to how to fit a compressor and air tank :D

I think you need to recreate Spuddin's M50 BBMG, and put it on the roof, badass

That's the general idea ;) and I'm given to understand that aircon compressors can put out something in the region of 300 psi, so that's some interesting power potential.

sweet, I wonder what the police would think of that, just driving the landy with the hood down, and your (apparently) .50 cal mg poking up out of the car...

you can drive tanks on the streets of london, so why not a landy with a machine gun?

You do need a way to have a compressor and an air tank just in case you are on a walkabout you can fire your cannons else were..

Rag just facilitates this process when JSR claims that the traits for which he has become known are ill-founded.

Said claims usually fall apart when sufficient evidence is hurled at them. :D

My protest was that even fairly recent members with no knowledge of the aforementioned evidence that is invariably dug up seem to form the same impression, ah well  :P
