hmmm if you are always complaining that 'I live in a densely populated area so I can't blablabla' then why don't you buy a powerful AC car compressor and power it with the engine??

compressor + BBMG mount is still on the list, but first I need to do the following:

- paintjob
- front suspension
- repair old/get new soft top
- chequerplate truck bed
- lockable toolbox incorporating waterproof speakers in the lid

I have a couple of extinguishers earmarked as reservoirs already :) though I don't know if it's worth having an AC compressor or something like this.

Haha! excellent :D

looks like a good old series III SWB like mine too hehe!

Your own or found online?

Also, that searchlight, viscious looking blade and reel system seem to suggest that this particular launcher seems to have some sort of sinister practical purpose...

looking at the contrast between the gun stand and the background, it could be photoshopped but I don't know, is it onewing?

@iknowmy3tables
yeah that's what I thought when I've seen it

@jsr
a car AC compressor is a must!! think of all those HPs that you can use to power the compressor.. this would solve both of your problems: not having free source of high pressure air and problems with testing something more... uhmm substantial

Ahh its no photoshop. And yeh it is, well was mine. This was made 9 years (piston valve guns were cutting edge stuff back then) ago in my dorm room at university, my text books made good stepping stones to avoid the metal shavings in the carpet.

The junk pile provides the sad and sorry proof, a shame really. The landrover has collected a few friends since as well just not of the 8 legged variety :P

Damn, I can't find that posting with the "Rover" pictures.

Maybe 2 years ago you mentioned the same excuses!

Edit: Never mind, did not notice the date. Thought it was a new project.

Diesel isn't free, but I see your point :) plus now that I've gone HPA with BBMGs, it's hard to go back...

Nice collection there ONEWING, wish I had space to put them! If I did I'd be buying a "new" one every few months :D by the way you should post that harpoon gun in the pneumatic showcase

Yep it's the same one, I've had it for just over a year and so far all I've done is rip out the things I didn't like, fitted a bonnet that can take a spare wheel and a hard top for winter. Took me a while but now it's getting some proper attention :)
