I am pretty sure they're already using them to deliver drugs - I mean if they are willing to spend $$$ on huge pneumatic launchers to send drugs over the border then srones seems like 100x times better idea

Those with significant payloads are hardly quiet or difficult to spot though... not exactly a "stealth" operation.

Not sure about quadrotors, but my fixed wing airplane is surprisingly quiet. Even with minimal background noise you just can't hear it further than 100 meters... and it's difficult to spot too. Not something I expected to be honest

Yup, as often discussed, unless awkward maneuvering is involved, a fixed wing plane is quieter, can carry a heavier payload faster and further.
