I was given a 24" wheel MTB in pretty good shape and decided to build a SUB with it.

Whoa, I've never heard of a stand up bike before. Nice work for sure. Are they hard to ride?

Elliptigo make them in a couple of sizes, that's where I got the idea from.

Just ridden it in my driveway so far but it feels good, might need to play with handlebar position. Mine is a single speed as I wanted to keep it simple, so I geared it high. Hoping to get it out on the local bike trails this weekend, they are flat (old train tracks)

8km on the trail with my SUB, different technique to riding a normal bike, more like climbing stairs but you're actually going somewhere. Wouldn't want to go long distance but good for a short workout. Shortened the cranks to 90mm and changed the pedals. Next addition will be a hinge so I can fold the handlebars easily and going to try some higher bars as well.

Hinge for bars works good

10k fun ride on the local trail went ok, struggled in strong head wind at the end so going to try a lower gear ratio next. Going from 48/16 to 48/18.

After a few more adjustments, mainly gearing, 11k on the trail.
