Why are you on about barbie jeeps....

The V1 rocket is what springs to my mind with pulse jet engines....

im not saying thats what ill use it for, im just wondering if anyone on this site has ever built a jet engine of any sort. i know a few things about them, but i really want to get some feedback from someone who has experience with one. that or we could just come up with ideas of what you could do with a jet engine. for example you could use it to toast smores, or even put a frying pan over the flame and make your breakfast.

i have seen a video of a guy on a homemade go cart frame with one of those on it. it looked like he was going pretty fast for a little engine. i was interested in building one one time also but i couldnt figure out exactly how it worked. doesnt look ALL that complicated though

yeah, their not too complicated, you basically have an intake, an exhaust, an ignition chamber, a turbine and a fuel injection... doesn't look too complicated, but....

Guys, comon. Please search before you post.

We had a detailed Pulse Jet Questions thread just last week:

http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/pulse-j ... ter,0.html

There have been several in the past, also. Search "pulsejet" or "pulse AND jet" in the search box.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.
