Download the demo. It says up to 25 saves but it actually lasts forever.

Get gmax. It is a stripped version of 3ds max. It is free. Lol I have 3ds max but it is $3500 (not a typo). Gmax is good as long as you dont want to import your models into games. I dont think you can render with it either so that is a downside.

Personaly, I use POV-Ray to do my renderings. It has some really advanced options, but doesn't come with premade libraries of objects - you have to make everything out of primitives, no shortcuts.

Not to mention that you have to learn the syntax & vocabulary...

rhino 3d works great, and its very easy to use after you just do one or 2 tutorials, plus you can just get the demo version, and the saves never run out

Gmax is good, but Rhino 3D is a lot simpler for a beginner to use. I've been using it for a while and it woks great. I'd reccomend using gmax after you have a bit more experience and want to do animations such as projectile motion sims and such.

By the way, thanks Cole.

Is it possible to download the program on to a disk at a libary then download it on to my computer at home. Im not a computer person. The reason is because I cant stay on long enough for the download to complete (some one calls and it kicks me off the internet). Wal-mart connect sucks! Please help.

Try downlaoding it at night when you know no one will use the phone. If that does not work then I will try to mail you a cd containing gmax. or rhino. Woot, 100th post.
