Well, since we don't know what other people are thinking, it was still a scary experience. And now that the FTA or whatever it is is crackin down on weapons aboard airplanes, I'm surprise they didn't make a bigger deal about it. There were only 3 cops that escorted him from the building.

This is what pisses me off about 9/11 I know that since then we need to take more severe precautions but everybody doesnt need to go running around like they got there head got cut off because some guy accidently left his gun in his bag. One of the objects of 9/11 was to strike fear into the American people. Well guess what they accomplished just that, if you dont agree with me just turn on the TV with all these baby stroller bombs and shit like that (there hasnt been one attack in Amercia by these terroist since 9/11). I think that it would be safe to say that most Americans have some level of fear that there will be another attack of some kind. Im not saying that we should forget about 9/11 just that we shouldnt live our lives in fear and assume that the government will go to all lengths to stop a future attack. There was just no way to predict 9/11 even if you had all the info about OBL because running a airplane into a building is so unthinkable but a effected style of attack. Now apply this when you go to the airport and you accidently leave your toenail clippers in your bag and they dont catch it in screening dont think that there getting lack on security. I mean really what can terroists do with a gun on plane these days where the pilots door is secured and bullet proof. Sure they can kill people aboard but they cant take control of the plane. If they tryed again Im sure they wouldnt use planes agian. So drac what do you want airport security to do with guy bring in SWAT teams and close the whole airport down? By taking his weapon and escorting out of the airport is solving the problem. Sorry for the long lecture but I hate to see that the terroist accomplished there goal of having Americans (the worlds most powerful people) live there lifes in fear 4 years later.

No, I didn't expect them to dtrag SWAT in, but I was merely saying I thought that there should've been a bigger response to it. Everyone has there own opinion, although i did not expect them to shut the airport down. I'm glad they didn't actually because if we missed the flight that day, we would have to go the next.
