crazymoron010: The chamber is all before the valve as far as air flow goes, but not as far as physical placement goes. The QEV is basically just a really well designed barrel-sealing piston valve.

i like your gun mate great stuff.

just a bit on the QEV bit, i wouldnt really call it a well designed barrel sealer, they technically are most* of the time diaphragm valves, and in no opinion no where near as good as a barrel sealing piston.

anyways thats really just me.

whats the highest pressure you've had this sucka at?

I've only put it to 100PSI because of the QEV.

A diaphram valve? I thought they were piston valves. Oh well.

where can you get qev's at? I went to my local hardware store yesterday and asked for one and they looked at me like I was freaking crazy! It sucked.

QEV's can be bought at http://www.mcmaster.com.

And yeah, I hate asking store personal for things that they've never heard of. They always say it doesn't exist like unless they've heard of it, it's not real.
