hi wrote:damn, they sell copper by the yard, not meters here. guess i cant make one.
What? I've only seen it sold in 10 foot lengths, and those are too expensive to buy and just use a couple feet of. ($25+ for small sizes)

hmmmm nice gun, but you definetly need a piston or QEV, i dont understand why would you spend so much money of copper and everything and just put a ball valve on it?

The main reason i call myself prosniper is because thats my nick name at the local shooting range ( bisley) in surrey england. when i was on the air gun range there was not a target i could not hit and because i had £700 scope and £1,200 gun (air arms EV2) most ppl had only a cheap setup and i did not want to be most ppl and the name has stuck

Yeah, they fine, but not great (ie. most other valves)
As spanerman said, just spring load it, its really easy to do.

OK, you get a pull spring and attach one end to the lever of your ball valve, then attach the other end to your gun, making it such that when the ball valve is closed, the spring is being tensioned. Now drill a hole and use a pin to hold the lever back. To trigger the valve you simply remove the pin.
Need a picture?
