Thanks guys, I'll be needing to find something worthy of destroying to test the power. Might try and pick up some old junk(tvs/microwaves) when there is a council clean up and shoot them.

Untill then I'll make do with melons.

Rna if it hadn't been for your advice on the compressor I'd have given up on the whole canon. So let us know if there is something in particular you would like to see shot and I'll do my best to make it happen :)
love sound effects
LOL i guess computer games are good for something.

Good to see I'm good for something :)

I would have to say shooting at a large old TV with a blunt heavy object would be great.

I'll see what I can do
I think a 150grm spray can filled with sand and frozen water should do the trick.

I wish you guys could have seen the full splatter range from the ping pong balls. I had it zoomed in too far, I found a decient chunck of melon about 10 meters from the impact zone.

The pill bottle filled with 4 size 4 sinkers and frozen water was good, it cleaved the melon in half(went through both layers of iron behind the melon) but the 3 ping pong balls filled with sand and frozen water each weighing 80grms was the best.....as we all saw for devestation.

I think I'll go for 25 to 30 marbles next to see what effect that has

Giant shotgun!Look out though,I had a barrel burst on me doing that it was a handfull of marbles and it was only class 12 pipe.

I haven't tried ping pong balls before,I'll give them a go when I get Mr Wilson going.

lol Mr wilson? sounds interesting :)

Ares is all class 18, nice n thick. but what I do is make a wadding "cup" out of news paper, similar to a birds nest. Place all the marbles in it and then add some more around the sides to form a sort of cylinder shape and then add some wadding on top. It exits barrel as one, then disperses. Havent had any problems so far with this setup.

Looking forward to your Mr Wilson, is it going to be a mutha of a canon?

Amusing, but you used the idea I was planning to use in my next video.
Well, I refuse to do what will now be seen as copying, so I have to go with back up idea 1.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

that Mr wilson looks pretty good mate. How does the hot glue hold up as the piston? hsa it shatterd yet? Might give it a go if its durable :)

@Ragnarok- I dont mind if you use the same sound files, they came from unreal so its not like your copying me.

Anyway it doesn't matter coz anything being shot at 300+psi will be good

Bravo. Simply bravo.

I get an sense of gratification from exploding melons. You see, where I live at my town claims to be the watermelon capital of the world, and I get sick and tired of seeing these things.

Thank You
