Bu multi shot what do you mean? Like three cannons duct taped together or something that can fire, reload and fire again?

are you talking about multiple barrels or a single barrel?
if you are talking about a single barrel you could always have a bolt action or gravity feed... if you are talking about multiple barrels it gets a little more complicated.

Search and read first, other people have asked this question, and very few people have made semis or full autos, you can bounce you're ideas off people here with knowledge. Also, if you were the one who made the dual chamber with the sick paint job I love you.

Airsoft/BB gun's will satisfy your ideas...
A blow gun attached to a barrel and airchamber will give you quite a couple of shots. Add a gravity fed-Or spring fed- mag and you have a semi-auto.

A sprinkler valved cannon can be multi-shot, as long as you have a contiunous compressed gas source.
And yeah, please search in the future. If you don't already know, we don't know every topic off by heart, we have to search for them, so you may as well too.

Hmm aparently i should have been a lil more precise with my question when i say multi shot i mean either:
semi auto -utilising a hammer piston system
or like the sprinkler valve system but instead i use the air efficiently enough to get a couple shots (with out havin to be connected it to a compressor)
vortex is a no...that requires me to to be chained to a pump n use small pellets
So any ideas where to start....Im new to semi autos soooo i bring nothin to the table

CO2? You could still use a sprinkler valve then.
Don't expect us to do the searching for you, we provide the info, all you have to do is search for it. Seriously, there is no where to start with you, you need to know all the concepts before we spoon-feed you stuff you may or may not know.
Before you get to the stage where we help you with a specific design, improvement in your grammar and knowledge on most semi-auto designs will be needed.
For now, you just need to spend a few sleepless nights sifting through all 22,789 pages of JSR's semi-auto and full-auto designs. And the odd one chucked it by another member.

Try looking here: Newbie help. You should see a link for the auto pneumatic video tutorial.

so carl try starting with a hammer valve of large dimensions for more power if you want multishot or just base it off of the gb semi on the home page should be able to get some ideas from that

I feel I need to jump in here - Newbs and n00bs are strictly different things - unfortunately, newb is being killed because people keep using n00b when newb would be the better choice.
Newbs are newbies - they are more than prepared to learn. n00bs are people that don't know what they're doing, think they do and won't accept they're wrong. Tim Buckley explains it much better than I ever could:
http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php?d=20060823
People should really use newb in almost all the situations they use n00b in. For example, someone like "5 star general" is a n00b - most people that get called it aren't.

Point taken, title fixed.
With the amount of information on semi auto designs and taking into the fact that you posted a topic asking for information, I drew the conclusion that you wished for something simple to start with. If not, look up a bunch of topics by JSR (jackssmirkingrevenge) for his interesting multishot piston designs.
