well I build this gun in about 1h,as a frist try at coax air guns.
It works very well, the piston opens pretty fast :D .The gun is made of 80cm of steel tube and a 6mm tube for barrel. The piston is pilot by a blowgun valve, operatin presure:20-200psi.The scope is 4*38,I bought is for 35 euro.

Great first coax, must be powerful, only thing I could say is that it has a largish pilot, but where you have the trigger I dont see a better way, any chance of a video.
That is all.

Good first effort, the pilot area is rather large but hey, if it works, it works.

Why the ball valve though? Does it fire when you disconnect the schrader?

Since you're working with metal, a good way to get more power would be to use a smaller chamber and up the pressure using a shock pump to take it to 300-400 psi.

Wow nice work on the first coax mate!

I agree with Jack, with a pilot that size, disconnecting a schrader shouldn't cause the gun to discharge. and more pressure = more fun :D

Also have you modded that blowgun to increase flow?

the ball valve is only for safety, because some times the schrader lose air when the presure is more than 150 psi.
