Nice gun!

Don't bother pumping above 3 bar or so, before you´ve opened that ball valve the dart will be long gone.

He's exaggerating... a bit... you can't use all of that potential at 30 bar with no firing mechanism and such a short barrel. I think you'd see a bigger improvement by speeding up the ball valve with a spring instead of increasing the pressure.

EDIT

Don't go over 28 bar!! I had a similar pump and the pressure gauge blew off at over 30 bar with a large chunk of the plastic body. Those little pumps are Not safe for large chambers and for pressures higher than 28 bar. Thats why they say "do not go over 28 bar" on the package.
Build yourself a stirrup pump... you'll get higher pressure, more volume and more durability from it.

I have to promote myself again. You will get about 3 times the power you have right now, according to my tests.

If you're feeling creative you can spring-load the ball valve with a bit of effort.

Image

The above design is for a semi-auto repeater, if you reverse the spring and trigger dynamics you can make a single shot fast valve.

thanks for te pic but i know how to make it spring loaded its just that my new project with a qev is already under way so i didn't put much more effort in it
