This would work the same way as my Breech loading shells concept did (search it if you have no idea what I'm talking about) except with 8 pieces of SDR 13.5 inside a wooden frame. You'd need a constant air supply, but I'm trying to find a reasonably good compressor for a good price right now. You'd pull the bolt back (not shown), rotate the "chamber," push the bolt forward, fire, and repeat. It shouldn't be too hard to make and you'd get a reasonably good rate of fire (for 8 rounds  ). I could try to make it work with gears or something so that when you pull the bolt back, it rotates, but I'd rather not right now.

I HAD to edit this because I just had an idea (of course, right after I post  )

I could put thin flaps in each "shell" which the bolt passes through. That means the paintballs won't fall out the back of them (uh-oh, a new problem to think about. CRAP) . Then I could rig up a spring loaded magazine that feeds into the bottom "shell" but have the flap in the shell placed so that only one PB can fit in. Then when you rotated it, if the "shell" was empty, it would get loaded.

To prevent the ammo from falling out, why not just have two stationary peices on either side of the wheel. (with a hole at the top to allow ammo feeding, of course)

That's another thing I forgot to add because of rushing.
